The fifteenth century building which houses the Residenza Antica Canonica is located in the old town of Città di Castello, right beside the Cathedral.
Once used for housing the Cathedral’s canons, the building boasts an historic atmosphere thanks to a renovation which respected the original construction. The interior design features doorways made of local stone called Pietra Serena, decorated ceilings and an important fresco from the sixteenth century that reproduces the famous Crucifixion by Raphael.
Charming and comfortable, the suites and apartments in Residenza Antica Canonica are the ideal solution for both a holiday with the whole family and couples who want to enjoy a romantic stay in Umbria.
